Teen Duo Arrested After Violent Convenience Store Robbery in Loma Linda, Face Robbery and Conspiracy Charges

Two teenage boys, aged 15, found themselves on the wrong side of the law after an early morning convenience store robbery in Loma Linda. The San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department reported that the duo made away with tobacco products and even resorted to physical violence against a store employee during the incident on Tuesday. According to the official account, deputies received a call around 9:02 a.m. and promptly intervened at the store located on the 25000 block of Barton Rd.

The search for the suspects did not linger long into the daylight. With help from the Sheriff’s Aviation Division, the boys were swiftly located. One of the juveniles was apprehended with the stolen property to boldly claim it as his, and both were taken into custody without further ado. “Deputies arrived at the business and confirmed two juveniles stole a package of cigarettes and punched the store employee during the incident,” as detailed in the account obtained by the Sheriff-Coroner Department.

Legal consequences were quick to follow. One of the teens was released to parental custody after being arrested, while his counterpart was booked at the San Bernardino Juvenile Hall.
