Deputies with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department responded quickly this morning when an unexpected visitor showed up at Jurupa Valley High School – a full-grown 300-pound bull.
Jurupa Valley sheriff’s officials say the bull wandered onto the high school grounds, prompting a coordinated response from deputies, animal control officers and local handlers. Using calm, careful tactics – and a lasso – officers and deputies were able to safely wrangle the animal without incident.
There were no injuries reported to students, school staff, deputies or the bull during the event…
