Two Los Angeles Residents Arrested in Loma Linda Robbery and Narcotics Investigation

LOMA LINDA, CA — On August 4, 2025, at approximately 12:06 p.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a theft in progress in the 11400 block of Benton Street in Loma Linda. According to the report, a suspect was seen removing tools from the bed of a truck and placing them into a blue Volkswagen SUV. When the victim confronted the suspect, the individual allegedly raised a tool in a threatening manner. The victim disengaged and contacted law enforcement.

Deputies located the blue Volkswagen a short time later at a residence in the 25100 block of Starr Street in Loma Linda. Two individuals, identified as Jonathan Cabrera-Jauregui, 31, and Angela Oralia Herrera, 40, both of Los Angeles, were detained at the location. Detectives obtained a search warrant for the residence and vehicle, which resulted in the recovery of the stolen tools and a quantity of suspected narcotics packaged for sale.

Cabrera-Jauregui was arrested for robbery and possession of stolen property and booked into the Central Detention Center with bail set at $50,000. Herrera was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sales and booked into the same facility with bail also set at $50,000…
