TEMECULA, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — A devastating crash on Interstate 15 in Temecula left four people dead and two others seriously injured Saturday night, authorities confirmed.
The collision occurred just after 9:30 p.m. when a black BMW M4 traveling northbound on I-15 near Winchester Road veered across the center median into oncoming traffic, according to California Highway Patrol (CHP).
Investigators say the BMW, reported to be driving recklessly, crossed the concrete center divider for unknown reasons and entered the southbound lanes. The car continued across the freeway and into the slow lane, directly into the path of a white Nissan Sentra.
