Redlands police officer saves teen seriously wounded in drive-by shooting

A 16-year-old boy was hospitalized with serious injuries following a drive-by shooting in Redlands Saturday night.

The boy was shot in his lower leg and “bleeding profusely,” leading to a Redlands police officer having to apply a tourniquet to stop the bleeding before paramedics arrived on scene.
