Inland Empire sees wild weather as thunderstorms move through SoCal

Residents in the Inland Empire saw some wild weather Tuesday morning, including wind, rain and heat.

In Beaumont, the morning was calm, but things turned chaotic as large thunderstorms formed off to the east. Even though the heat wave will continue, the forecast called for mostly cloudy skies with morning thunderstorms.

“Oh gosh, it’s just been a stir-up of wind, dust, lots of dirt,” said Paisley Reading, who lives in Banning. “The sky was just light brown. I was in Kansas years ago so for me, it reminded me of a tornado.”…
