An Inland Empire man opened fire on two alleged burglars in his home early Wednesday morning.
The man, whose identity has not been released, was in his home in the 9000 block of Alta Mesa Avenue in Phelan at about 2:10 a.m. when he heard a noise in another bedroom, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said in a news release.
Two people were in that other bedroom, and the man grabbed a handgun and chased them through the house, “fir[ing] off rounds toward the suspects,” the Sheriff’s Department said…
