Sonic boom rattles Southern California from SpaceX rocket launch

Some Southern California residents have reported feeling the shake and hearing a sonic boom as a SpaceX launch took off from Vandenberg Space Force Base on Saturday morning.

A Falcon 9 rocket launched from Space Launch Complex 4 East around 11 a.m., according to SpaceX, sending 24 satellites into low-Earth orbit.

This was the 20th flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission, which officials said previously launched SDA-0A, SARah-2, Transporter-11, and 16 Starlink missions…
