Fiery High Speed Crash, Driver Survives And Flees In Redlands, CA

1. On August 31st, 2025, at about 1:45 AM, Redlands PD, Fire, and AMR responded to a traffic collision with fire on the University of Redlands campus.
2. The first unit at the scene reported a vehicle on fire after a high-speed crash.
3. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
4. Firefighters extinguished the fire.
5. The force of the crash was strong enough to dismount the engine from the vehicle partially.
6. Redlands PD and Campus Police are investigating the collision as a hit-and-run.
