An extended spell of hot weather is finally coming to an end this week in Southern California — at least for a few days.
An area of low pressure is currently working its way into the northern part of the state, KTLA’s Kirk Hawkins said Monday morning.
“That will eventually make its way to Southern California, creating some cooler temperatures, some onshore flow, and changing up our forecast just a little bit for the bulk of the next five days,” Kirk said.
