‘Dainty’ 3.3-magnitude earthquake rattles Los Angeles area, seismologists say

A 3.3-magnitude earthquake shook the Los Angeles area in Southern California, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The 5-mile deep quake hit about 4 miles south of Pearblossom at 10:49 pm. Monday, Sept. 8, according to the USGS.
