After launching some military satellites into low-Earth orbit, SpaceX is getting back to its regularly scheduled programming in Southern California with its next planned Starlink deployment.
The commercial spaceflight company founded by billionaire Elon Musk has a weekend Starlink mission on its schedule from the Vandenberg Space Force Base in Santa Barbara County.
But for those watching from the ground, it won’t make a difference whether the payload is commercial or government satellites: The Falcon 9 rocket blasting off to deliver them to space will look the same. Unfortunately, though, a daytime launch window means that – unless you’re near the launch site – you’ll have an especially tough time seeing the spacecraft get off the ground…
