MORENO VALLEY, Calif. — Animal advocates are asking for donations to help pay for the medical expenses of a two-year-old wild burro that is recovering after being shot with an arrow.
DonkeyLand, a wild burro rescue based in Riverside, said officials from Moreno Valley Animal Control and Riverside County Department of Animal Services found the young burro with a green arrow in its chest near Pigeon Pass Road on Friday.
