In less than a decade, the Original Farmers Market will celebrate its centennial, but there’s more to the coming merriment than meets the eye.

Meets the eye, yes, and the nose and taste buds, too; the famous public market is known for its delicious eats and sips, from tacos to caramel apples to big, big breakfast plates.

For a second celebratory centennial will occur at the fabled corner of Third & Fairfax in 2034, and it will happen in October, so get out those 10-year calendars on the double…
