San Bernardino Does Not Fare Well in WalletHub Report
With the U.S. experiencing more than 340 mass shootings and more than 26,000 motor vehicle deaths so far this year, the personal-finance company WalletHub today released its report on 2025’s Safe Cities in America, Only one California city was listed in the bottom 10: San Bernardino.
To determine where Americans can feel most protected against life’s hazards, including nonphysical forms of danger, WalletHub compared more than 180 U.S. cities across 41 key metrics. The data set ranges from traffic fatalities per capita and assaults per capita to the unemployment rate and the percentage of the population that is uninsured.
It’s not the first time. Sab Bernardino was also listed among the least safe cities in the nation in 2019, 2020 and 2022. The city also has been listed among the worst places to rent…
