Law enforcements conduct a search warrant in East LA connected to deadly Esparto explosion

(FOX40.COM) — A search warrant was conducted in Southern California in connection with the Esparto firework explosions that left seven people dead in July.

On Monday morning, officials from Yolo County and the California State Fire Marshal’s Office said its investigators executed a search warrant in East Los Angeles that could be connected with the Esparto investigation.

According to FOX40’s sister station KTLA, the search warrant was served in the 400 block of Vancouver Avenue, which is 1,000 feet from Garfield High School.

Due to the cache findings of fireworks being so close, law enforcement issued an evacuation order for the school and the surrounding neighborhood…
