Redlands police investigate armed robbery Downtown

REDLANDS, Calif. — Redlands police are investigating several incidents reported between Oct. 23 and Oct. 30, including an armed robbery downtown, a burglary at a pizza restaurant and a DUI crash in east Redlands.

Shortly before 1 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, a man was robbed at gunpoint while walking north on 5th Street near Citrus Avenue after leaving The Underground, police said. Two suspects wearing face masks confronted the victim, with one pointing a gun and the other stealing a gold chain valued at several thousand dollars. The suspects fled in a nearby vehicle.
