The Beaumont City Council is considering a resolution to begin the process of annexing 78.48 acres of unincorporated Riverside County land along Cherry Valley Boulevard into the city limits.
The proposed annexation area includes nine parcels that are currently home to a truck repair facility and largely undeveloped land. The site lies along Cherry Valley Boulevard, a two-lane east–west roadway identified in Beaumont’s General Plan Circulation Element as a Major Highway, a designation for primary travel corridors that provide regional mobility and accommodate high traffic volumes.
