LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA — Authorities have arrested several suspects accused of operating a large-scale retail theft ring that caused more than $900,000 in losses to Home Depot stores across Southern California.

According to a report from KTLA 5 News, the suspects were allegedly involved in a “sophisticated fraud and theft operation” that spanned multiple counties, targeting power tools, hardware, and high-value equipment commonly resold online or through secondary markets.

A Massive Multi-Store Operation

Investigators say the group strategically stole large quantities of merchandise from Home Depot locations throughout Southern California before transporting the items to private storage sites and warehouses.
