Driver in Southern California crash that killed 4 Pepperdine students loses bid to have murder charges dropped

The man accused of killing 4 Pepperdine students when he crashed his speeding vehicle on Pacific Coast Highway has lost his bid to have some of the charges against him dropped.

Fraser Bohm, who recently hired celebrity attorney Alan Jackson, remains charged with four counts of murder in the Oct. 17, 2023, incident, according to multiple reports.

Bohm fatally hit undergrads Niamh Rolston, Peyton Stewart, Asha Weir and Deslyn Williams while driving at more than 100 mph, according to prosecutors. Bohm wasn’t hurt.

Bohm’s attorneys claim he wasn’t under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time, and he was not texting while driving.

Instead, they claim Bohm was speeding to avoid a confrontation with another driver in a road-rage incident when his car was hit by another vehicle, leading to the crash…
