Southern California cafe burglar nabbed after setting off alarm, officials say

A burglar is behind bars after he broke into an Apple Valley restaurant early Tuesday morning and set off the alarm, attracting the attention of nearby deputies, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

The break-in at Spirit River Cafe, 16020 Apple Valley Road, occurred just after 2:15 a.m., the Sheriff’s Department said in a news release.
