Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman whose body was found about 75 feet down a mountainside in San Bernardino County earlier this week, authorities said Thursday.
Deputies responded around 11:42 a.m. Tuesday after someone reported seeing a body near Highway 138 and Crestline Road in Crestline, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
When deputies arrived, they discovered the woman down a rugged embankment, about 75 feet off the side of the roadway. Fire crews with San Bernardino County Fire helped retrieve her body from the mountainside before she was transported to the Coroner’s Office…
