Almost 7 million Southern Californians are planning to hit the road, sky or seas ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday, according to the Auto Club of Southern California.
The company projects that about 5.88 million will travel to their Thanksgiving destination by car, another 704,000 by plane, and 196,000 will use another mode of transportation, such as a cruise ship, bus or train.
“Southern Californians go the distance to spend time with family and friends. This holiday is one of the busiest—and most meaningful—times to travel each year,” Auto Club spokesperson Doug Shupe said in a statement…
