SAN DIEGO — On Tuesday, a 48-year-old man was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison for murdering his ex-girlfriend, whose body was never found.
The man, Eduardo Magana, was convicted by a jury of second-degree murder of his former girlfriend, 33-year-old Alexis Berenice Guadarrama Orozco, in November, according to a press release from the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office.
During Magana’s trial, prosecutors presented a timeline that revealed that Magana met Orozco at the Star Motel in Otay Mesa on June 15.
