A 57-year-old Moreno Valley man was shot and killed last week, prompting an investigation that led detectives across the region and ultimately to the arrest of two suspects, according to a press release from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called to the 13000 block of Heacock Street around 9:37 p.m. on Nov. 27 after receiving reports of an assault with a deadly weapon, the Sheriff’s Office said. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Paramedics attempted lifesaving measures, but the victim died at the scene.
