An Apple Valley man is facing a litany of charges after he allegedly hit a former girlfriend in the face, resulting in deputies discovering a cache of weapons and other illegal items.
A woman reported to deputies just before 7 p.m. Sunday that her former boyfriend had struck her in the face, kidnapped her at gunpoint and told her he would kill her, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said in a news release.
The ex-boyfriend did not follow through with that threat, driving the woman to “an unknown location” and then back to the site of the attack in the 23000 block of Shirwaun Road, authorities said…
