Good Samaritans save neighbors from burning house on Christmas Day in San Bernardino

Community members in San Bernardino put “love thy neighbor” into practice on Christmas Day as they went inside a burning home and rescued residents as well as their pets, officials said Thursday.

The San Bernardino County Fire Department said the fire was reported at a home on 7th Street near H Street at around 3 p.m..

Before firefighters were able to arrive at the scene, neighbors went inside and woke up a husband and wife who were sleeping at the time. The good Samaritans were also able to rescue the couple’s five dogs, who were not injured…
