John W. North High School marked the completion of a $61.5 million campus transformation with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Dec. 19, celebrating major upgrades to the Riverside Unified School District campus.
The renovation brings modern learning spaces to a campus that has served Riverside students since 1965. The project gives North High students access to improved science classrooms, a competitive gymnasium, and updated facilities throughout the campus.
The ceremony featured the grand opening of a new eight-classroom science building and an 18,327-square-foot competitive gymnasium. The project also modernized restrooms, enhanced campus entry points, and improved accessibility features across the school.
