Corn spill shuts down lanes on 10 Freeway in San Bernardino

A big rig overturned early Wednesday, spilling boxes of corn across the 10 Freeway in San Bernardino and causing lane closures and heavy traffic delays for commuters.

The crash was reported around 1 a.m. when the fully loaded westbound semi crashed through the freeway wall and ended up in the eastbound lanes near Waterman Avenue.

Video from the scene showed boxes of corn scattered across the freeway, affecting traffic in both directions.
