Highland Park, California — An unsettling discovery outside an 80-year-old woman’s home in Los Angeles’ Highland Park neighborhood has sparked concern among residents and renewed warnings from police about surveillance tactics used in potential burglary schemes.
The hidden device, camouflaged among potted plants and aimed directly at the front door, was discovered earlier this month and has since been turned over to investigators.
