183 dogs leave Southern California for new homes out east

More than 180 dogs took flight on Saturday night bound for new homes out east.

Wings of Rescue posted on Instagram that 183 lives “[took] flight in the middle of the night” out of Southern California. Local shelters remain “dangerously overcrowded,” the nonprofit said.

“While most of the world sleeps, Wings of Rescue [was] airborne, carrying 183 dogs out of Southern California, where shelters remain dangerously overcrowded and time is often the deciding factor between life and loss,” Wings of Rescue further elaborated…
