Authorities are currently investigating a homicide that occurred in the unincorporated area of Nuevo, where a deceased adult male was found with traumatic injuries. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office was alerted to a possible deceased person near Nuevo Road and Foothill Avenue on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at around 12:28 p.m., as reported by the Riverside Sheriff’s Office. Deputies arrived to discover the body and quickly discerned the nature of the incident as a homicide.
The Central Homicide Unit has since taken over the investigation to rigorously analyze the situation and follow any leads.
