A multi-agency law enforcement operation targeting gang-related crime across San Bernardino County resulted in 17 felony arrests and the sei- zure of 24 firearms on Wednesday, Jan. 14.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff ’s Department announced that “Operation Consequences,” a months-long investigation into criminal activity linked to the Northside Colton criminal street gang, culminated Wednesday with the service of nine search warrants and multiple parole and probation checks in Colton, San Bernardino and Redlands.
Searches were conducted at locations including the 800 and 300 blocks of E. C Street, the 500 block of Laurel Street, the 800 block of W. Olive Street, the 1300 block of Highland Avenue and the 800 block of Jackson Street in Colton. Additional enforcement actions occurred in the 1700 block of Massachusetts Avenue and the 24500 block of Monterey Avenue in San Bernardino, as well as the 1000 block of Fletcher Avenue in Redlands…
