A 23-year-old woman accused of killing and decapitating her boyfriend, whose headless body was found at her Southern California home, has been arrested on a murder charge, local officials announced on Jan. 29.
Alyssa Marie Lira, of Anaheim, has been charged with one felony count of murder and one felony enhancement of personally using a weapon, Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer announced in a statement through his office after the woman was located in Mexico last week.
Lira, who had been on the run for five months from law enforcement, stands accused of killing her boyfriend, 55-year-old Enrique Gonzalez-Carbajal, the statement said. Officials reported the man’s headless body was discovered in Lira’s home on Aug. 25, 2025…
