Fontana Man Arrested in Yucaipa Graffiti Investigation

Between November 2025 and January 2026, several criminal reports of graffiti were reported throughout the city of Yucaipa using the monikers “CTE,” “AFS” and “BFOR.” Through investigative efforts, deputies positively identified the suspect as Edgar Arriaga of Fontana and linked him to multiple graffiti vandalism incidents in Yucaipa.

On Feb. 5, 2026, Yucaipa deputies and detectives served a search warrant at Arriaga’s residence, where additional evidence related to graffiti vandalism was located and collected. During the search, deputies located a firearm with a large-capacity magazine and ammunition. Arriaga is a convicted felon and prohibited from possessing these items.

Arriaga was arrested for felony vandalism, felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, possession of a large-capacity magazine and graffiti, and was booked at the West Valley Detention Center.
