LOS ANGELES – Pharmacy and lab employees at Kaiser Permanente are set to begin a strike Monday, joining thousands of nurses and other health care workers now entering a third week of an Unfair Labor Practice strike against the system, according to the United Food and Commercial Workers union.
The UFCW said its members will walk off the job at 7 a.m. Monday and picket at select Kaiser medical centers across Southern California. The union also said it plans “massive solidarity rallies” this week at Kaiser locations in Los Angeles, Panorama City, and Downey.
