The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County rose Monday for the 25th time in 26 days, increasing six-tenths of a cent to $4.514, its highest amount since Dec. 2.
The average price has risen 37.3 cents over the past 26 days, including three-tenths of a cent on Sunday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It rose 20 consecutive days, was unchanged Wednesday and resumed increasing the next day.
The average price is 4.7 cents more than one week ago and 38.5 cents higher than one month ago, but 14.5 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.859 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022…
