At its Feb. 3 meeting, the Beaumont City Council directed staff to return Feb. 17 with additional financial details and logistical information as officials continue planning for the 2026 Cherry Festival.
The update came during a discussion on 2026 Cherry Festival planning efforts, including site options, projected costs and coordination between the city and the Cherries of the Pass Foundation.
City staff and designees from the foundation have been meeting on a bi-weekly basis prior to and after the Council’s approval of the two-party Memorandum of Understanding for the 2026 Cherry Festival to coordinate planning efforts.
