The first week of March is set to be a windy but warm one, weather officials say.
Winds of 40 miles per hour and higher are in the forecast starting Sunday afternoon. The winds will help usher in a “steady cooling trend” with some low clouds and dense fog, but that will only last through Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
The weather service added that “widespread moderate to locally strong winds” could still be felt in the Southland on Tuesday and through the end of the week; despite this, an offshore flow will likely “contribute to a few to several degrees of warming” as the week goes on.
