Redlands Police cite one in underage drinking operation

The Redlands Police Department and the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) cited one person on March 14 for furnishing alcohol to a minor during a statewide Shoulder Tap operation. The enforcement effort aims to raise awareness about the dangers of underage drinking and keep communities safe.

The operation targets adults who agree to buy alcohol for individuals under 21. Those caught face a minimum $1,000 fine and 24 hours of community service. The effort was funded by ABC’s Alcohol Policing Partnership program and the California Office of Traffic Safety through NHTSA
