SACRAMENTO, GA– Assemblymember Robert Garcia (D–Rancho Cucamonga) is proud to announce that Megan Telles, Emmy Award–winning journalist and co-anchor of the KTLA 5 Weekend Morning News, has been selected as the 2026 Woman of the Year for California’s 50th Assembly District.
Megan Telles will be formally recognized on the floor of the California State Assembly on Monday, March 16, as part of the Legislature’s annual Woman of the Year celebration, which honors women from across California who have made extraordinary contributions to their communities.
