On March 20, 2026, at about 7:56 a.m., Corona Police officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 600 block of Stoneybrook Drive. Officers encountered an adult male suspect armed with a knife, leading to an officer-involved shooting. The suspect was pronounced deceased at the scene.
An adult female victim with multiple stab wounds was found and transported to a hospital, where she later died. The Corona Police Department’s Investigative Services Division, the Riverside County Force Investigations Detail, and the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office are investigating.
