Millions of dollars in stolen merchandise have been recovered after Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department detectives dismantled a major cargo theft operation spanning three counties.
From December 2025 through February 2026, LASD’s Major Crimes Bureau Cargo Criminal Apprehension Team carried out 13 search warrants across Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino counties as part of what officials described as “an ongoing investigation into organized crimes and cargo theft.”
The search warrant operations ultimately led to the arrest of nine people.
