Riverside County 7th Grader Wins Spelling Bee for Second Year

Victoria Li, a 7th grader from Dr. Augustine Ramirez Intermediate School in the Corona-Norco Unified School District, has once again been crowned the Riverside County Spelling Bee Champion. The countywide competition took place on March 26, 2026, at the Riverside County Office of Education Conference Center.

Victoria secured her win after 16 rounds by correctly spelling “potamic” and then “ejecta.” She will represent Riverside County at the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C., from May 26–28, 2026
