Carrying a heavy wooden cross, John Dillon finished his 80th mile as he stopped to rest in Apple Valley on his nearly 300-mile trek from Pasadena to Las Vegas.
The 60-year-old missionary from Southern California told the Daily Press on Friday, April 10, that he left Pasadena on Jan. 15 with the hope of sharing the “goodness of God” with people along the way.
