ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — The Southwest Virginia Wildlife Center says it’s estimating a year-long process and a price tag north of $20,000 to return a pair of bobcat kittens recently taken into its care back to the wild, making it one of the longest and most expensive rehab projects in the center’s history.
The Wildlife Center received the kittens after they were found on the side of the road in Russell County by their deceased mother, who had been hit by a car.
