SALEM, Va. (WDBJ) – One more sleep and then America’s Largest Free Gate Fair opens for business at the Salem Civic Center; the Salem Fair.
In 2025, the fair was a success, but the city did note hot temperatures, and stormy weather did put a damper on things. The heat is back again, just in time for all the fun. WDBJ7 spoke with organizers as the last touches are being put on all the rides and games.
