Angels of Assisi and Bedford Community Pet Coalition to Host Low-Cost Mobile Pet Health Clinic

Angels of Assisi, in partnership with Community Pet Coalition of Bedford, will host a low-cost Mobile Pet Health Clinic on Friday, July 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot of the Bedford County Animal Shelter, located at 1307 Falling Creek Road, Bedford, VA 24523.

The mobile clinic is open to all dog and cat owners looking for accessible veterinary care. No appointments are necessary and pets will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limit of three pets per family. Dogs must be on a leash and cats must be safely secured in carriers.

Services begin at just $10. Available services include:

  • Well Exam: $10
  • Rabies Vaccine: $10 (plus exam, required first)
  • Vaccines (DHPP , FeLV, FVRCP , Lepto): $10 each
  • Bordetella: $10
  • Dewormer: $10
  • Microchip: $10
  • Nail Trim: $10
  • FIV/FeLV Test: $20
  • 4DX Test: $25

“Providing affordable veterinary care in communities where it is needed most helps keep pets healthy and with people who love them,” said Gracie Boliek, Communications Manager at Angels of Assisi. “We’re grateful to partner with Bedford Community Pet Coalition to make these services more accessible to local pet owners.”
