BEDFORD, Va. — The Bedford County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing Tuesday, July 28, on a proposal to convey the former Centra Hospice House property to Good Samaritan Hospice, Inc., a move that could restore hospice services at the facility.
The hearing is scheduled for 7 p.m. during the Board’s regular meeting in the third-floor meeting room of the Bedford County Administration Building, 122 E. Main St.
Bedford County has owned the 1.5-acre property at 1025 Turning Point Road since 1832. Centra operated hospice services there from 2016 until closing the facility in April 2026…
