Williamson Road lane redesign cuts traffic crashes by 38% in Roanoke

ROANOKE, Va. — A pilot lane redesign on Williamson Road has reduced traffic crashes by 38% without slowing down drivers or diverting traffic into residential neighborhoods, according to an update delivered to Roanoke City Council on Monday.
